Creation of the first SMS donation service in favour of the TELETHON
Created in 2011, the Swiss Charity Association is moving forward with new technology and improving its solutions to facilitate the donation process, as well as communication between the Associations and their benefactors.
Tragic air crash
Following the tragic air crash that occurred in the Châtel-St-Denis region on 28 April 2012, the Swiss Charity and Porte Bonheur associations have joined forces to provide support for the families and loved ones affected. The accident left three orphans of the father and mother and three orphans of the father from another family. When the president and founder of Swiss Charity was personally touched by the disappearance of the pilot, one of his best friends, Swiss Charity mobilised to help these children.
Tragedy Ronny Keller
Ronny Keller is a Swiss ice hockey player who became paraplegic as a result of a player charge in a second division match between HC Olten and SC Langenthal. Swiss-Charity and its Ambassador Julien Sprunger, captain of Fribourg-Gottéron, mobilised to collect donations.
